Digital Photography Series

We all make snap judgements and construct our own narratives about the people around us. Whether it's someone we interact with or simply a passerby on the street, there's always a story being told. This series is about capturing those moments. Each image is part of a greater story, but without a title to lead the viewer in any sort of direction it allows each viewer to construct their own storyline.

This was my first venture into portraiture and I fell in love with it immediately. The emotion that you're able to invoke from the viewer with a sentient subject is unmatched and that was my goal with this project. I crafted each scene as rough sketches and then translated into the digital images you see above.
